The book is a precious document disclosing the exceptional natural wealth of the Mežica mine, which at the same time presents a highly relevant scientific work in the field of mineralogy and crystallogra-phy. Among many mineralogical curiosities, the author has also identified two new types of wulfenite twins, not yet described in the scientific literature. In an adventurous way, the book takes us through the history of mining in Mežica, into deep underground straight to the vugs lined with crystals, which are laid open in front of the reader.
